We are glad to welcome our seminarians back to Limerick after their Christmas vacations. Deacon Heppelle spent his week in the Institute apostolate in Preston, UK, and Abbé Phillips visited his family in Nebraska, USA. Tomorrow, I will return with great joy to Ireland from my vacation. I would like to express my gratitude for your prayers and kindness following a surgery that I had to undergo last week. Thank God everything went well. Canon O’Connor will leave for his vacation in America.
Please note that tomorrow, Monday 15th January, there will be no public Masses offered at Sacred Heart Church and no confessions from 12 to 12:45 pm. Adoration with the recitation of the Rosary will take place from 6 to 7 pm.
For all who make regular donations in the collection, please know of our appreciation! It is even more helpful to us if you use the donation envelopes provided for this purpose. In order for these envelopes to be useful for taxation purposes, you must contact us for a donor number, which allows us to accurately file for tax benefits at the end of each year. If you have not already received a donor number, please contact the priory. Thank you for your support!
You may have noticed the sheets on the tables in the back of the church for contributing to the costs incurred by the sacristy for the liturgy. Please consider making a contribution for the purchase of hosts, altar wine, incense, or the other various items necessary for the Mass.
Please note that catechism classes will resume this morning following the 10:30 am Mass.
Wishing you a blessed week!
